Welcome to The Milborne Port History & Heritage Group which was formed in 2016 by a core of local history enthusiasts and has continued to grow in number and scope ever since.
Its remit is two-fold:
- to archive and preserve for posterity a huge array of artefacts, documents and local knowledge
- to provide a conduit for the sharing of this information through our museum, our website and our monthly talks and presentations given by people who are passionate about their subject
We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) Foundation model no 1186468, run by a small group of Trustees, assisted by a Committee. The Annual Members’ Meeting is both a chance for members to hear about our progress over the previous year and our plans for the future, and for members of our organisation to feed back to us about the cultural activities and information that we have provided and their wishes for future provision.
We are currently planning our 2024 programme and will publish it here when the bookings have been confirmed. What’s On
Please join our Facebook group! We will keep you updated regarding all of our activities.
If you have come to the website to find the information about the Edward Hallett grandfather clock, click here to find the information which will remain on this page for the time-being.
